Driven by desire to succeed and fueled with passion to help others, Khalid AlQoud represents the modern model of a fully established businessman. Khalid is an executive coach, orator, an entrepuner, an expert in leadership and a business consultant. His business endeavors hasn’t started with the establishment of his current two companies that he now runs, and certainly didn’t stop with them. Khalid has been developing and improving the characteristics that make him an effectual coach year in and year out. His experience various over several issues, which include leadership , corporate social responsibility , public relations ,public speaking , events management , motivational speeches and voluntary community service. He has been giving significant speeches and conducting workshops for the local and international community under the theme of those topics.

While studying at the Arab Academy to obtain his Bachelor degree in business administration, Khalid was also occupying a position in Aluminum Bahrain (Alba). He used this opportunity to develop his skills and improve his comprehension of the real world working environment thereby implementing the knowledge he gained from studies into his job.

From that point onwards, Khalid has always been on the lookout for new challenges. His first test as an entrepuner was when he entered the real estate market with a new business, which served as a perfect tool to fund and pursue his real passion in the event and exhibition management industry - Prince Event Management.

 Community contributions and Engagements

Few years down the road, after setting up Prince Event Management, his next deed was to display his commitment to the society through starting a non-profit organization called “Bahrain Corporate Social Responsibility Society (BCSRS). The society’s main goal is to “contribute to the social, cultural environmental and economic development of the kingdom of Bahrain, and to have proper understand for the needs of CSR for the benefit of all our community”.

Just as mother Teresa said, “It’s not how much we give but how much love we put into giving”.

The idea of BCSRS came to Khalid after being involved in several public relations programs. Khalid has been actively involved in raising funds for local charities and campaigns since 2002, and from his associations with such programs he felt t that these organizations overlooked and neglected. Consequently, Khalid and 20 acquaintances took upon themselves the initiative and set up an organization with the aim of raising awareness of the importance of CSR. One of BCSRS’s active projects is Youth+, a program that introduce Bahraini youth to community engagement thereby becoming the positive change they want to see in their society.

Life always comes around

Khalid’s latest project is ALQoud Consultancy, which was set up in 2012 with the aim of helping struggling businesses to overcome their difficulties, and carefree business to develop even further. The company offers a variety of consultation services for different departments such as public relations and marketing.

The company’s success in attracting young Bahrainis and providing them with job opportunities comes from the trust and the faith Khalid puts in the youth of Bahrain. He knows that when the goings get tough, Bahrainis will always stay tough, and he is willing to give them a chance to prove that.

Even in his free time, Khalid continues to provide young Bahrainis chances to devlop their skills and improve their abilities. He ahs materialized where they can prove themselves to society, and most importantly equips them with the fact that they can achieve anything they set their mind to.

One of the clubs Khalid founded is the Bahrain Leaders Toastmasters Club. They say that public speaking ids on top of the fear pyramid. The main objective of the club is to eliminate and overcome that fear from club members and anyone who wishes to join , and as a result help them deliver influential speeches . The methods employed in accomplishing prepared speeches or improvised ones.

With all his accomplishments, Khalid considers being one of 20 entrepuners worldwide for the International Visitors Leadership Program (IVLP) and representing the Kingdom of Bahrain in the United States. The IVLP is a prestigious honor given to few selected entrepreneurs. Te program participants are given a chance to explore the

American culture personality and build relationships with western entrepreneurs.

So what is the secret behind Khalid’s success?

Success is a journey not destination, and the road towards the top has no short cuts. These are the words Khalid lives by. He once described his day as, “I wake up at five o’clock in the morning, and exactly before six, I write motivational talks in my social media group and then I go to work. I enjoy spending time in the office”.

Khalid also cherishes his social relationships, and believes that the place you are in is only as beautiful as the people you share it with. Additionally, he loves visiting various places around kingdom and hanging out with his loved ones. One day, Khalid hopes to get back to his favorite hobby besides charity work, which is horse riding

Working hard, loving your job and doing something that inspire others, these are the ingredients for Khalid’s success formula.
